1st Impression:
The story of abolitionist Harriet Tubman has finally made it to the big screen after years of rumors and speculation. The trailer captured various facets of Harriet's life including her escape from slavery and of course her involvement in Underground Railroad where she helped lead hundreds of slaves to freedom.

I was not familiar with Cynthia Erivo's work prior to this trailer but she has a commanding presence and her chemistry with Leslie Odom Jr. in the trailer was solid. I look forward to seeing Harriet and hope that Hollywood does her story justice.
